Linda Shahan is a 72-year-old seasoned bowler from Ohio, with over five decades of dedication to the sport. Her remarkable achievements include being inducted into the TRI County Bowling Hall of Fame for her exceptional managerial work between 2015 and 2020. Linda has won multiple championships, including the 1986 Delaware State Women’s Handicap Doubles and the 2017 Portage County Jr. Sr. Trio Tournament.
In a sport where women represent only 17.9% of participants, Linda has tirelessly advocated for women’s rights and equality. She has been a strong voice against the inclusion of biological males in women’s competitions, drawing from her experience in handling a controversial case within her league. Linda is committed to ensuring fairness in competitive bowling and protecting the integrity of women’s sports.
